Toyota Avalon Nightshade Edition Comes Before Car’s Discontinuation in the US

Toyota will stop production of the Avalon sedan in the US, and before that, they have introduced a new Nightshade Edition. With the debut of the 2022 Avalon Nightshade Edition, the company has also discontinued the perky TRD model.

Toyota will offer the new edition in Midnight Black Metallic, Wind Chill Pearl, or Celestial Silver Metallic. As evident from the name, the black elements are present at multiple places, including mirror caps, rear spoiler, door handles, shark fin antenna, and name badges. Furthermore, it sports 19-inch black-coloured alloy wheels.

Other standard features we find on the Toyota Avalon Nightshade Edition are power tilt/slide moonroof, an eight-speaker 1,200-watt, 14-speaker premium JBL audio system, a nine-inch touchscreen. The pricing details are as follows:

The 2022 Toyota Avalon is slightly more expensive than the present model. The base XLE is $150 pricier but come with extra standard safety facilities. The standard Toyota Safety System 2.5+ packs automatic high beams, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assist, road sign assist, and other extras. Besides, the Rear Seat Reminder is also a standard feature.
