Ford 30 new vehicles for the Middle East and Africa region will reach by 2020, announced by the company on the first day of Dubai International Motor Show. Exactly 8 of the 30 will enter the market by the end of 2016.
The news about Ford 30 new vehicles reflects the company’s intent to continue its growth in the region and marks the relevance of the Middle East in the automobile industry. Regional vehicle sales are expected to go up to 5.5 million by 2020 – a 40% growth. Ford’s expansion plans for the region include 35 new dealerships and provision of financial services to gain a stronger position in the market. Ford US October sales went up by 13% (213, 938 vehicles) compared to last year, the best October performance in 11 years.
Ford has 6 vehicles on display at Dubai International Motor Show this year: Ford GT supercar, Shelby GT350 Mustang, 2016 Ford Edge, 2016 Ford Explorer, 2016 Ford Ranger and 2016 Ford Figo.
