Reportedly, the second generation Nissan Qashqai is ready make an appearance at the North American International Auto Show 2017 in Detroit, US. Standing up against its worthy competitors (the Honda HR-V, Ford EcoSport and Toyota C-HR), the crossover utility vehicle plans on paving its way into the US market this time.
The second generation Qashqai was introduced in 2014 and got very famous in Europe. The automaker expects it would also steal the spotlight in the US. Some speculations justify the epic showcasing of Nissan Qashqai in Detroit by the beaming success of the Rogue. The fact that the Rogue made US best sales in 2016 predicts the Qashqai will also be a successful entrant in the market. Apart from their major resemblance, the Qashqai is smaller in size with no third row seating.
A few details are not clear yet, such as, the name for the US market and the powertrain specifications? While these facts are yet to unveil, the Qashqai has better chances of embarking the US auto market because of its crossover body style and its exclusive nature unlike other Nissan models sold in the US.
