AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group products for Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, has unveiled the all-new BMW X5 for Middle Eastern customers. The fourth generation luxury X5 made its first appearance at the Sharjah showroom on October 17th in a private gathering.
The new BMW X5 has got bigger but it did not compromise on its athletic looks. The signature sculpted bonnet, front overhang, the big kidney grille, and persistent design of the headlights give it a usual BMW X model look. The interior features a panoramic glass roof Sky Lounge with a 23% bigger glass surface.
The all-new BMW X5 offers two engine options including a 3.0L V6 Patrol pumping out 240 hp and 450 Nm of torque and a 4.4L V8 creating a whopping 462 horsepower.
The new generation comes equipped with the Parking Assistant with automated longitudinal and lateral guidance. The New Reversing Assistant takes control of the steering to move the vehicle backward. The Parking Assistant Plus includes Surround View, Top View, Panorama View, and Remote 3D View.
For offroading enthusiasts in the Middle East, the all-new BMW X5 off-road package includes two-axle air suspension, under guard at the front and rear, in addition to certain displays in the instrument cluster and Control Display. Furthermore, there are four driving modes, which make driving on sand, rock, gravel, and snow a pleasurable experience.
The price is not announced yet, however, it might be slightly pricier than the 2018 X5, which sells at AED 365,000.
