Honda has recently unveiled the latest additions to their 2024 CR-V lineup, including the hybrid Sport-L variant. The entire range has been assigned price tags, with the starting price being $1,090 higher compared to the previous 2023 model. Customers can expect the arrival of the 2024 CR-V starting from June 14th.
Positioned between the CR-V EX-L and the Sport Touring trims, the CR-V Sport-L offers both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options.
The latest trim option boasts sleek black accents on the outside, rectangular exhaust tips, and stylish 18-inch wheels in black. Inside the vehicle, you’ll find luxurious leather seats as a standard feature, with the added convenience of power adjustment for the front passenger seat and a motorized tailgate. The cabin also offers an impressive 9.0-inch infotainment display that supports wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To top it off, there’s a wireless charging pad and a high-quality eight-speaker sound system.
The hybrid version of the CR-V still maintains its combination of a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. It delivers a total power output of 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. According to Honda, over half of the CR-V sales comprise hybrid-equipped trim options.
Alternatively, there is another powertrain choice which is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with turbocharging, generating 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque.

In 2022, Honda successfully sold 238,155 CR-V units in the US, experiencing a decline of 34.1% compared to the previous year. As of May 2023, the company has achieved a remarkable increase, selling 132,538 units of the crossover, which represents a 41.4% growth when compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
The 2023 CR-V starts at AED 94,900 and tops out at AED 132,195. The availability of the new model in the UAE is not confirmed yet.
