Jeep unveiled a new variant for Wrangler in 2021 named Rubicon 392 producing 470-horsepower (350-kilowatt) and now we have another model – Wrangler High Tide sporting a new paint called High Velocity yellow.
The new High Tide is built on the Sport S with many additions. However, the first 500 examples will be exclusive to beach enthusiasts. The limited-edition Wrangler Beach will have distinct Beach hood decals. The price for the Beach model as well as the standard High Tide will be the same though at $50,835 (including destination fee).
Speaking of the High Tide, it employs the body-shade hardtop, LED headlights and fog lights, rock rails, the Gorilla Glass windshield, sand/slush mats, the Sunrider Fliptop, and High Tide hood decals. Furthermore, the trim features the Xtreme Recon Package consisting:
-
35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires
-
17-inch beadlock-capable wheels
-
4.56 rear axle ratio
-
1.5-inch suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks
-
Hinge-gate reinforcement
-
Jack spacer
-
Tire relocation kit
-
Wheel flare extensions
Interested customers can pre-order for the High Tide with deliveries expected before the Jeep Beach 2022 week, which is held at Daytona Beach, Florida, starting from April 24 through May 1.
“We listen to our customers, so we are celebrating their passion for beach-ready vehicles during this multi-day event with the Wrangler High Tide and Jeep Beach special editions, as well as introducing our newest high-impact, High Velocity yellow exterior color,” stated Jim Morrison, the head of Jeep.
We are not sure whether Jeep will offer this variant in the UAE or not. However, customers can have the Wrangler Rubicon for AED 199,900.
