After improving the Camry for the US market, Toyota now has introduced the updated sedan for the European market. The new 2021 Toyota Camry gets a restyled bumper and altered grilles to render a wider and more dynamic look.
While there are not many improvements on the outside, we cannot say the same for the interior. Although we have more options in the wheel designs and color choices.
On the inside, the new Camry gets a 9-inch display for the infotainment system, placed higher on the dash. The customers will be able to enjoy both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Furthermore, the sedan now offers two newly-developed Beige and Black premium leather seat upholsteries. The Toyota Safety Sense suite now encompasses an adaptive cruise control, as well.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed in the powerplant department. The 2021 Toyota Camry still comes with a hybridized 2.5L generating 215 horsepower and 163 pound-feet (221 Newton-meters) of torque. The engine is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 8.3 seconds.
Expect the 2021 facelifted Camry to hit European dealerships in the Q1 of next year. The 2020 Camry HEV starts at AED 122,500 here in the UAE.
