Audi has updated its Q3 crossover and gave it a coupe-like shape we call ‘Sportback’. The new creases and lowered and sloped roof differentiate the 2020 Audi Q3 Sportback from the standard Q3. However, that is not all! There is more to it! It is a little longer (0.6 inches) and shorter (1.1 inches) in height with a dominant rear-end.
Overall, it carries most of the stuff from the standard Q3 such as the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform, availability of both front-wheel all-wheel drive, turbocharged engine options, and 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission choices. The powertrain options include two 2.0-liter diesel engines, a 147-hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder with a mild hybrid system, and Audi’s most powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter developing the power of 226 horses.
Talking about the interior, it features a 10.25-inch (12.3-inch optional) digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch touchscreen display along with different connectivity choices. With a sloping roof, you might think it won’t be spacious inside. Contrary to that, it offers about 50 cu.ft boot space with the rear seats down.
There are plenty of electronic driver-assist features such as collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure and blind-spot warning, adaptive cruise control, and park assist with surround-view camera monitoring.
The pricing details are not revealed yet, so as its availability in the UAE. However, we know the 2020 Audi Q3 Sportback will reach dealerships in Europe before the end of this year.
