2019 Audi Q3 Gets A Better Exterior and Interior

The 2019 Audi Q3 was revealed on Wednesday with a redesigned look. The utility vehicle will join the booming crossover SUV market which Audi hopes to conquer. The new SUV is built on the revolutionary MQB platform that Audi uses in some of its other vehicles.

Talking about the changes, Audi has increased the overall dimensions of the vehicle compared to the outgoing model. The length has been increased by 3.8 inches and the width by an inch. While this might seem a paltry change, the crossover SUV does not hold back in terms of storage space. The trunk can hold up to 53.9 cubic feet with the last row seats folded.

The new Audi Q3 will provide three gasoline engine options and one diesel, all of which will be turbocharged mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission. The top of the line model could produce 230 horsepower with its 4-cylinder turbocharged engine.

The interior has received most improvements. The infotainment system supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play, while the Driving Assist features are available on the push of a button. The driving assist includes adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, front collision warning system, pedestrian detection, park assist and more.

The 2019 Audi Q3 will go on sale in the first quarter of 2019. The pricing details are unknown yet.
